Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival é um festival de música realizado anualmente em San Francisco, Califórnia, em Golden Gate Park. A primeira edição ocorreu entre 22 e 24 de agosto de 2008, e incluiu mais de 60 atrações musicais de todo o mundo, bem como várias instalações de arte. O recinto do festival incluiu a Polo Fields (que abriga a Lands End Stage), Speedway Meadow (Twin Peaks e Panhandle stages), e Lindley Meadow (Sutro e Presidio stages). Trazendo em 40.000 a 60.000 participantes por dia, o festival inaugural foi principalmente um sucesso; no entanto, ele foi criticado por sua falta de controle da multidão. O festival também foi orientado para o novo movimento verde e incluiu numerosas iniciativas para tornar o festival eco-friendly, como convidar os participantes a usar o transporte público ridesharing para chegar ao evento via Muni e Craigslist . A segunda edição do festival foi realizada entre 28 e 30 de Agosto de 2009, e transmitido ao vivo no YouTube através da conta do YouTube do festival. O festival é produzido pela Another Planet Entertainment, Superfly Presents, e Starr Hill Presents. Os gêneros apresentados são indie rock, rock alternativo, hip hop e música eletrônica. Um dos caçulas da nossa lista, o Outside Lands foi criado no ano de 2008. E desde então tem atraído mais e mais pessoas para a maravilhosa paisagem o Golden Gate Park, em São Francisco-Califórnia.
